I love Huddersfield Town. I might gripe, moan, be far too vocal for those who sit around me, but I love em. Forever. I can't swap, I was born to it. So yes, players and managers might not perform how I want them to, but they come and go. But I'll still be here and will always be. Born to it. As most of you are and will be too. Hope is eternal.

I might love them. But I don’t always like them!

Give it three months and we’ll all be excited for a stab at a promotion campaign. That’s why we love it and wouldn’t change it for the world!

I was shocked at the attendance today and how good the atmosphere was.
I think we all knew we were down but to walk in, look round to a good crowd and hear a very rousing rendition of;
'We love you Huddersfield we do'
At Kick off made me feel really proud of Town fans today. Not a song av heard all season, sang so loudly and proudly. I 'll be going back. I love Town and I'd be lost without em.
I think DATM has been really good this week too, alot of gallows humour, discussion and disagreements but its all been very gentlemanly/cordial and warm.
When oft' this forum can be so different.
We are all hurting.

When the dust settles and realisation sinks in that we are in league 1, I know I’ll rediscover my enthusiasm and be ready for August. I love football generally. But there’s only one team where I feel a sense of belonging and that’s never going to change.

I'll be looking forward to kicking on in the Championship next season after Tom Edwards scores 16 next week. Even in the unlikely event that we do go down I'll still be at every home game bar games I'm simply unable to go to.

Just because it took that long last time and other times doesn't mean it'll take 10 years this time. Could just as easily be one, if they get the decisions right ie Cartwright/Edwards etc

We all love the club that's a given and as a supporter for over 55 yrs I'm well placed to give a little bit of an opinion on the club as a whole. Standing on the terraces in the 70s watching games against the likes of Aldershot,Workington Town etc etc on a shity wet Tuesday night with no more than 2500 fans in the ground was fucking painfull to say the least. The fans of Huddersfield deserve so much better but,the Directors,management whatever have failed miserably over the years to stabilise the club. The utter crap decisions made in the last few years since relegation from the Premier League is there for all to see this afternoon,how fucking difficult is it to manage the multi-millions of pounds we got from that promotion in 2017 to were we are now?It's pathetic to be honest and we can pick and poke at players,coaches and management from top to bottom but some of the real chronic mis management is border line criminal. So 3rd Division it is,clear out your shit Kev and prove your the man to put this right,alternatively sell the club to someone who will otherwise this isn't going to end well over the long term.

But there’s only one team where I feel a sense of belonging and that’s never going to change. Agree entirely with every point you make, but particularly the last one. I’ve had “attachment” to several clubs over the years, to the extent of holding season tickets with some of them - Aldershot, Wimbledon, Exeter, Sutton - but there’s only one place in my heart for a football club and that club is Huddersfield Town. I might resent the club at times, get angry with the club, but the fact is I will love the club till the day I die. It is an unconditional love. I’m already looking forward to seeing and reading about everything that will be going on at the club, starting immediately after the Ipswich game. I can’t wait for the fixtures to be announced. Just typing this on my iPhone is getting me excited for next season. There are some good away days to be had in L1 - Exeter I love, Cambridge, Charlton, Leyton Orient, Northampton, Bristol Rovers. Count me in, I’ll be there.

BELIEVE Don’t talk such utter nonsense, there’s absolutely no chance of that scenario happening! We’ll never score 8 goals! It’s be Plymouth losing 15-0 and we win 1-0!!! UTT
