When they scored it looked like it was getting a bit nasty over in the top corner of the Antich next to the family stand and some were gobbing it off when they were being escorted down by the stewards. Then from where i was sat it looked like the stewards just left them by the flood light and it kicked off with the Police running down the touchline. How on earth did they get tickets for the home stand.

I could see something was happening in that far corner and there is normally quite a lot of kids sat in that area, not very nice thing for them to see. How did they get in there indeed.

My mate mentioned that last night that there had been some trouble in the Antich stand. I thought you had to be on the clubs data base to get tickets

I was getting some beers from the outside bar and for some reason the police thought it would be a good idea to walk them through our part. 4 or 5 Town fans then ran at them and it kicked off. I couldn't give a shit about the dickheads from Birmingham but there were a few kids down there and it wasn't nice to see. Luckily none of them got caught up in it but like I said, the police were stupid for bringing them out that way. They should have walked them past the family stand and out through the gates by the surveillance box

They looked like kids and celebrated when they scored but that's it, they weren't causing any other bother until numerous middle aged town fans started standing up pointing them out to stewards as if they were telling teacher. Give them some stick when we score by all means but the way some of our fans acted was pathetic. Thought it was fucking embarrassing to be honest.

They shouldnt be celebrating in home end especially at a game like that. By the sounds of it they got off lightly compared to what would have happened to them in some other parts of the ground.

They were right at the back of the stand and when the stewards got involved it was the two at the back that started mouthing off and waving their arms about. Thing is, someone obviously bought the tickets and sold them on and if you are in the home end and score, just keep it quiet and did anyone get arrested.

Oh they should have smacked for watching a game football? Ok. There is a reason for segregation it makes watching football safer and less confrontational, if you wish for idiots to be allowed free reign to celebrate in the wrong end you are going back to the days of fighting on the terraces, it’s irrelevant you won’t get involved others will. You go in the wrong end and start jumping up and down it’s going to cause trouble, so don’t go in wrong end simple and if you do don’t complain if someone whacks you. For the Leeds game HTFC made an announcement that anyone getting tickets for opposing fans would receive a ban themselves. Rightly so.

Just find it weird. They didn't say a word for 45 minutes till they scored, even then if people hadn't started pointing at them and shouting for the stewards hardly anyone would have noticed. I don't understand the mentality of thinking someone deserves a smack because they came and paid to watch their team play and quickly celebrated their team score a massive goal, was there 3 or 4 of them? They were hardly trying to provoke a riot. It only got chaotic when loads went crying to the stewards. Just think it was a bit pathetic.

It’s like an unwritten code of away supporters you go in the wrong end you keep quiet, your free to comment and say it’s weird but if you were an away fan and cheered in the home end I would think you were weird and deserving of a good slap from a fellow town fan

There were two Leeds fans on our row for their match (looked like dad and teenage lad). They obvs borrowed season cards as they walked in holding them looking for the row and seats. Polite as pie coming in. They just stay seated throughout even when we scored and they scored but in the way out, they barged around the back of a few of us. My son had recently had his ACL op and they knocked him. I gripped the dads arm and pulled him back and held him for about a minute so he could clearly hear the celebrations going on around us. When I let him go, he sheepishly walked away as I think he realised I could have outed him. The thing is, they behaved impeccably for 95 minutes but could not resist acting the twat. An elderly woman who also got pushed said she was going to report the seat numbers, not sure if she did.

Stewards were a disgrace really. 1 woman stood on her own whilst the 20 other gazed up at the stands as though they didn’t know what planet they were on. The town fans were pointing at them to get the attention of the male stewards, so that they’d help. However I didn’t notice her try to flag down any colleagues of hers either. Think she was a bit shell shocked.
People will always get through the cracks, but the stewards and police should have reacted quicker.

They were winding up all the town fans on their way out deliberately. One of them was fighting one of the stewards on the way out and got a well earned slap from a town fan. Felt for the poor steward, minimum wage for that. Id imagine they were coked up and they'll be able to tell their mates how hard they are now. This wasn't young lads innocently watching the match, they knew exactly what they were doing and fortunately got what they deserved. Maybe ask the steward how he feels about it. Do you honestly think they were just innocent young lads there for the football?!?! Naive.

Years ago (season Chris Beech got the winner) me and a pal got tickets for the 'Singing in the Rain' stand at Maine Road when our allocation had been sold out. We'd have got an absolute battering if we'd celebrated the goal in any way, and quite literally sat on our hands. If you buy tickets for the home end at any game then you're risking either a beating or being ejected within seconds of letting slip. Those little prats from Saturday will have known what would happen. Maybe the fans pointing them out didn't want to their kids witnessing anything nasty? There were two Florist fans sat next to me at Wembley. They barely said a word over the entire game, which was the correct way to behave in the circumstances.

The odd thing is that the away end didn’t exactly look full, rather like the Leeds match. So why go in the home end? Maybe, it was a sell out but some just didn’t turn up.
