Must be Robbie Williams for making an appearance and giving every Town fan in the ground an opportunity to let him know how poor he is rated by us.

Booing Williams before he came on was pathetic. What are you trying to achieve?

I gave most of them to Sebastian Melmouth! I assumed that the "mouth" in his name, meant he had a massive mouth, hence ... I gave him plenty of maltesers to fill it.

Rumour has it, he can stuff his whole fist in his mouth! That's as well as an elephant, two small houses, a bicycle pump and a llama called Fred!

Maybe Cowshed Phil was in charge of picking the MOTM? I don't think Holdsworth will be dreaming of being able to play like Goodwin tonight somehow! Got to be Glennon. Other than the misjudged bounce thing he did ,he had a top game again. Not bad for an inconsistant crap keeper.

After what was quite a drab afternoon, the announcement certainly livened everything up as we rolled around amongst the empty rows of seats and then tried to work out which match the sponsors had been watching or had they simply been enjoying the hospitality and thought, bugger it, shall we pick a random!!
From my lofty position in the Direct Golf, I thought Steve Jones looked very lively in the first half and beat his man a couple of times. As per usual, Dicko bossed the forwards line and still looks like one of Towns best players, but it does pain me to admit it that maybe Matty Glennon was man of the match but I do have to echo captainslapper's comments that he is still distinctly average and I believe could have saved the Rovers equaliser, but hey what do I know!!!

I was being ironic welshmatt!!!!! Why does it pain you to admit he was MOTM? Are you one of these daft Glennon haters who sit there hoping he chucks one in his own goal so you can boo him? You must be gutted at his performances since last xmas. Glennons a great keeper at this level. And what a surprise! He could have done better with the goal we conceded! LOL ( being ironic again)
And Dickinson bossed the forward line did he? He had his weakest game for ages! Constantly bullied off the ball, put in very little effort, couldn't trap a bag of sand (Even our goal came from Dickinson miscontrolling a ball so badly it ran straight into Flynn's path).

Dons tin hat before comenting....... I thought Goodwin had a decent first half - certainly committed in every challenge. And at least he had the character to know when its embarrassing to get MOTM when he's just been boo'd and put his shirt over his head. I quite like his character. And I believe he was one of the first to turn to acknowledge the crowd at the end (mind you most of the boo boys will have gone home long before that!)

Well the irony was lost on me sadly. If you read reports, and then watch the matches, it pains me because I have seen far better lower division keepers than Monsieur Glennon and his wonderous shot stopping abilities, which he did manage to pull out of the bag with his legs on Saturday though. His handling is suspect and his organising of the defence and yes Joe Skarz was at fault for not closing down the tricky winger, however, from my view in the DG stand on that side, he went down in stages. I am not a fan of his, but I never boo him, just like I would never boo Robbie Williams. I just don't have any confidence in him and that you can sense from supporters around as well. Yep Dicko was not at his best, but he like everybody else put in a good first 20 minutes and then died a death, but to be fair, he has very little support. Anyway, tin hat off here as well, the man of the match shoudl have been Glennon I admit, but I did like the look of Steve Jones, but he is know for being a striker and not a winger.

We'll have to agree to disagree about Glennon ( but you're wrong! ) Jones was a bit hit and miss I thought. Got in some good positions early on with a good turn of speed and bit of trickery, but having got there his crossing was very poor, failing to get over the first defender on more than one occasion. Drifted out of the game as it went on but not surprising as I don't think hes had much 1st team football for a while.

The man of the match selectors may well have been those two, one lives in the USA and I suppose you could say the other is down under of sorts!!
Well Captain Slapper, we will have to agree to disagree, but as you said, Steve Jones hasn't played a game this season, so that may account for the drifting in and out of the game.
All I will say now, is I can't wait for the Yeovil home match, where I am fully expecting the person who gets a shot at kicking the football into the back of the car to get it!!
