we need a leader. we haven't got one. we've signed 10 players but they all seem to be squad players.
worthington was nothing short of abysmal today.
lucketti hasn't done it.
clarke is clarke.
and the full backs were horrendous today.
and we only created one decent chance all match!!!! how frustrating.
were in desperate need of a LEADER. someone who can get hold of a game and take control.
our aim should be to be in touch with the playoffs and build again in january. I still beleive we have a far better squad than last year. Last years 19th position finish was very false.

Noted that during the game, Phil.
Can't believe how quiet our players are.

To be fair Flynn shows leadership qualities.

Flynn showed his confidence from the last few games with his goal.
Shame that the others didn't play the ball into feet more and to our strengths!

bloody gutted today after the swindon performance.
basically i'd put my house on swindon to go down because we completley out played them and looked very poor today.

Yeah, noted this a few games ago.
No-one stands out as vocal, no-one's shouting, telling the other players what to do ... spurring them on.
In this sense, we certainly miss Rob Page.

To be fair to Clarke he looked like he was trying to gee up the lads on a couple of occasions, not constant leadership but he did try!

Only player that i've noticed having a go at anyone else, was Jim Goodwin a couple of games ago.
Play in him the holding role in midfield, and make him captain.

during the first half at least when the defence were at my end I did notice Nathan being pretty vocal, particularly in talking to Goodwin and getting him into position for set pieces etc, so credit were credits due. Skarz also seemed to be vocal int he first half at times, heard help shouting for more movement from the other side of the pitcha couple of times. But of course we should expect that of our defence all the time anyway. They all become mutes as soon as we concede or they mess up.
