I've calmed down a bit since last night and have just read the match report on the O/S.
Roberts penalty claim/booking.
Looked to me (sat in FMS upper) like a penalty as he seemed to roll his man.
What were other peoples views of this who were sat in different parts of the ground??

From my seat in the Golf Lower it looked a clear dive. There seemed to be quite a bit of daylight between the pair as Roberts went up into the air

He virtually admitted he dived by his reaction. If he is going to do that he needs to act like he deserves a penalty

Weird cause I was convinced it was a penalty... And as for dicko's performance - I think he's "similar" to collymore - big man who's crap in the air - never saw stan prolific with his head. Keep it on the ground! So why are we punting balls aimlessly up to him and playing him as a lone striker? Odd. He's scored goals so far, and granted as poor as he was 2nd half, Im amazed at people suggesting we should send him "gelled"?? And who would we play in his position if he was to leave anyway?? We are screwed without him. Doesn't like Jevons, Boothy out, Cad's - hahah yeah a real striker in't he? KP is NOT good enough nor tall enough to play as a lone striker in this "system"... We are screwed up front. Cheers Stan. I was gutted yesterday, and we were lucky we got a point. That simply isn't good enough - anyone disagree? And much as I thought it was just emotions were running high on here around 6pm, I am still convinced the worst thing out of yesterday were Stans post match comments! What a prick. How the hell is this guy going to take us forward? He's well and truly alienating himself now. Wouldn't be too bad if his methods appeared to be working - but they aren't based on yesterdays spineless performance and most prior to that. How could anyone (players inc.) respect a man who thinks it wasn't important to win at home in this "open" league and we NEED the win? The bell end! "Champagne taste on beer money"? 3.2 million a year on wages and he's talking beer money? I'm not happy at all and I'd love to see that comment explained to Deano This is another turgid appointment, with more turgid football. He's had bags of time to "gell" now don't care what anyone says its a results based business and we aren't getting them OR a noble effort - this is a luxury appointment for football manager at this level - ideal even - bring in as many players and who you want and he's on his way to royally fucking it up. He's wasting this chance completely and it will take a dramatic turn of fortune to reverse this garbage. Christmas is coming quickly - how much more time would people like to give him before they realise he is too outdated for the job? The players don't have to like him, far from it, however they have to respect him and after yesterdays comments I would be surprised they ALL don't think he's a prick and wonder why the fcuk they came here where a player can get MOM and get booed by his own! Ridiculous! None of this "its our right to boo" shite, bet none of these "fans" start booing in the middle of mcdonalds when the spotty oik gets tha order wrong! Fan's not supporters then eh? Rant over. Oh Tommy Cowan is a fireman and on sky sports news!

Couldn't tell from where I was sat, but if he did dive he was an idiot, because he was past his man and in a really good position

I thought it was a foul and a penalty, however it was a long way away from where I sat. The booking he got though gave everyone the answer though!!

Is that his 4th booking now? I thought it looked like a penalty but was too far away as well to be sure.

Looked like he slipped from where I was, a few rows behind Stan. It was a slippy pitch. Just ask the little lad from Fartown as he went for the bomb.

I was in the DG Lower to the away end. So, a fair distance from the said incident.
It looked like a penalty from there but like I say there was a bit of distance from it.

you could tell by his reaction it waqs a dive. didn't complain and from where i was sitting it was a very bad dive, he could have at least made it more believable

The reaction after suggested to me that it was more of a dive than a foul a well. Do a few rolls on the floor and hold your ankle...sometimes does the trick.

I agree with rigg about Ternant's post match comments. He always comes across as though he doesn't give a toss. He should do, he's getting paid shitloads and should feel priveledged to be the manager of Huddersfield Town. He's in it for the money and nowt else. Deano it's time to stand up and show him who's boss!

It summed up his overall performance - weak, insipid and generally poor! ..which can be applied to most of the team yesterday!

I would have said dive come slip. If I had been the ref I would have had a talk to him and given him the benefit of the doubt if there was any.

He saw the man coming, jumped to avoid challenge then realised their man had pulled out. In my opinion No Penalty but also No Booking..

Roberts pushed the ball past his man, but his whole body weight was leaning the other way, so he realised that he probably wouldn't have got to the ball first and threw himself up in the air. Clear dive from where I was and a clear Yellow, although some refs would have given it, if their position hadn't been as good as the one took up by the ref on Saturday .

If it was a dive, I'm very dissapointed in him. I hate divers, and didn't think we'd get many of them down here(I know Kamara dives), seems like a job for the boo boys

Re the champagne tastes and beer money I think it still stands as our wage bill is the same as the wages of 1 premiership player.
I doubt any of our players are on vast sums or are much better paid than other players in our division. The money spent went more on increasing the squad size from academy boys that weren't good enough to a squad that are all good enough to play in League 1.
L***s & Leicester's wage bills will be (at a guess) at least 50% more and in Leicester's case probably at least double. I'd guess Peterboro's will be bigger & possibly MK Dons as well.
The other year Millwall's wage bill was 5M so ours at 3.2M doesn't look that big.
