Im still hopeful of having a good season and will stay behind the manager and players, but one thing I find hard to accept is that Stan had money available for fees and wages in the summer and he bought in a lot of players, yet yesterday two of our forward line are loan signings. Loan players generally dont put in the same effort or have the same level of commitment. Sometimes you get a Peter Ndlovu, but more often or not you get a Kevin Kyle or an Alun Armstrong.
For me, a team with realistic promotion ambitions should not have two loans players on the pitch having brought in about 10 new players in the summer.
Just my opinion

Stan obviously thought he could do a job in with 4 in 9 he has so far. I don't know what goes through his head sometimes...then again, I don't want to know.

I wonder what he will use as an excuse when when have no strikers for about the last 6 weeks of the year. Great job there ST.

Works both ways. Loan players are often not in their teams for a reason and are trying to earn a move elsewhere as would be the case for Steve Jones.
