What exactly did Stan say to Paul Ogden that's upset everyone so much? I didn't hear the interview & must have missed the related posts on here...

I didn't hear it either. But the thing is Stan is a passionate guy. We all over react after a Town match, you only have to read this board to do that. Sounds like Stan said some things he shouldn't have, but he's human and was probably massively pissed off with another poor performance.
Made me laugh that some people were suggesting on here that Stan doesn't seem to care in his post match interviews after Saturday. He can't win.

Perhaps we should be reminded that the Radio L**ds commentary team slagged Gary Roberts off the other night for his "horror" tackle up at Darlington - the very same tackle that an unforgiving F.A panel didn't even class as a foul!

they likely had a far different angle of it though than the tv cameras,so what may look like a horrible tackle from 1 angle, may look totally harmless and show there be very little contact from another

he stook up for his decisions on the pitch. Ogden questioned them and stan shot them down.. any reporter with an ounce of a brain would have counter acted but ogden froze!!!! poor lad!!!!

He must be an awkward bugger to interview must ternent. Likes to keep his cards close to his chest and loves a one word reply at times. As well all know hes been around the block and a bit of a character. While probably the majority on here after saturday were hoping for a public slating of the team, stan surprised us all!

I've listened to the Radio Leeds feed a few times this season & get the distinct impression the Mr.O'Regan has it in for our Stanley. Not having read Stan's book I was wondering if there is some "history" between them?? (Stan seems to have a heck of a lot of "enemies") Or am I reading too much into the gibberings of Mr. O??

I went onto this thread expecting to find some juicy gossip that Paul Ogden was in fact Stan Ogden, from Coronation Street, love child. How disappointed I was when I discovered it was about Stan Ternant again. ;D ;D

UTT I don't listen to them much but the bits I've heard ver the past few seasons, O'Regan often seems to come across as a bit of a know-it-all and has not seemed to have a lot of respect for any Town manager, Jacko, Ritchie or Ternent. Easy to criticise from behind the mic though isn't it. He does seem passionate about Town at the same time though.

Whats he supposed to do - agree with everything they do when Town are getting stuffed again. If anything I think he holds back from saying what he really thinks, especially when Jackson was the manager. He is paid to criticise and he gives credit when its due.

As he's an ex-player and expert co-comentator I'd expect some genuine insight - things regular fans would miss. I've never heard anything like this from O'Regan.

O'Regan spouts off total tripe and is getting paid for the privilege, unlike us ;D
Get rid of him, and give him a £100 season ticket as his redundancy please.

Like him or not O' Regan has the bottle to say it as he sees it at the time, After each game there is a phone in where any fan can ring in and give their views on the game or his comments. We all have differing views on how any game has gone and who has played well/bad etc. We have this forum to air our views and he has Radio Leeds. He's just in a fortunate situation where he gets paid for his thoughts, how many of us would turn down a chance like he has. Give him a break or ring him on Saturday at 5pm
