There's plenty of managers under pressure and supposedly underperforming......no doubt the merry-go-round will start up again soon enough.

Boothroyd wouldn't drop from the Championship to manage us.... Would he? No. I guess it is interesting that Ward has got the sack after doing reasonably well up there........interesting if you care about Carlisle that is. Maybe we'll end up with Ward.......who knows he's now a free agent - Would the anti-Ternent fraternity consider this a good appointment?? Afterall he got Carlisle promoted and got to the playoffs in the very near past so I dont see how he could be discounted if the masses get their wish and ST gets the chop.

I wonder what has gone wrong for boothroyd after he did so well to begin with at watford. Would be good to have a young forward thinking manager in charge though.

We can't appoint Bothroyd, he hasn't fulfilled Davy and Watson's only necessary criteria of having won promotion from league 1.
I heard Alex Ferguson applied last time and was turned down on this basis.

Fair enough - like I said I aren't that interested in Carlisle . In any case they got to the play-offs, and should, given their result at Leeds, have got to Wembley.

If Town lost 9 out of 10 the manager would definately get sacked. We've lost 6 out of 15 and people are desperate for blood.

Some of our fans seem to be obsessed with sacking the manager. Which ever manager comes next might as well not bother unpacking his bag. Managers are very much a grass is greener concept. Stan might be kak but the give the guy a bit of time before you slaughter him. Who are we really going at attract that has not just been sacked at his old club for being rubbish?

ive always wanted to give him time, when he first came I was fully behind him. Its the things hes done and said to young players and some of the shocking performances that have really changed my mind and many thousands of others.. if we did a poll id guess it would be about 70% wanting him out ??

what makes a big club isnt it all very subjective, Town are a medium size club imo, never ever realised our potential except for when chapman was here in mid 1920..s
