No thanks. He has carried on from the good work started by laws and whilst he has carried it on well, i cant help but think he is still riding a .

I dont have a clue mate thats what i thought myself .. maybe the future funding of Hoyle ? Bigger club ? either that or he's seekign a better wage

He'd fit Davy's criteria of getting a team promoted from League 1.
Less said about his Championship record the better though.

You could argue he was just continuing Laws work the season they went up but biulding on it at the same time but not now. After going up he had all the goals ripped out of the team when they sold Keogh and Sharp so it was no surprise when they came back down again. To be honest I thought they'd drop straight through our division this season, having had to sell even more players to balance the books including Butler, who ALL their fans rated highly, but the fact hes somehow managed to turn them round to the point where theyre topping the division is very impressive indeed. All working with a fraction of the budget some clubs have at this level!
Would he be interested in Town job? I would have thought so, definately. He could be the best manager in the world but at Scunthorpe the finances are always going to stop him taking them any higher than a championship relegation battle. Don't underestimate what an attractive proposition this club under Hoyle will be for prospective managers.
