Jackson produced promotion in his 1st season and an improved league position each season after until he had one blip of a season and went. Ritchie had less than a season and got the boot. Ternent got 17 compettitive games and was shown the door.
Are Town the Newcastle of League 1 where we wont attract any decent managers and only can only take on those with a half a screw loose or in for a big pay day?
I hope I'm wrong. Please, please convince me I am! But by giving each of our last 3 managers little scope for error are we going to get a manager with a decent calibre who can take us to the next level?

I agree.. We are too. The reason - Because we have many "fans" who have totally unrealistic ambitions. Rome is not built in a day. Stay positive and we will get there. Booing is NOT the answer though. We need to get behind the lads and whoever is in charge even if we don't like him! A good home crowd is worth many points and the fact we don't have many points shows that we are NOT in general a good home crowd.

Stay positive and we will get there. No, no, no. Simply being positive does not bring success. I don’t think Dean Hoyle or Ken Davy made their money just by being positive. In order to be successful you actually need to do things and to make decisions.

It is NOT the home crowds fault we have such a poor home record!! Do we play? Do we pick the team, buy the players, choose the tactics and train the players in them all week? Considering whats been served up, the support at home this season has been very patient and supportive IMO. Yes, we still get the odd prat booing certain players, but that really is a tiny amount of people. the overall support has been excellent.
The backing ,noise wise, could be better, but its a two way thing. the team has to play their part too, and they simply haven't been doing that.
