The optimism is back for me big time!!!!!
Gerry Murphy or new manager syndrome ... it doesn't matter to me either way I reckon the Scummers are set for a stuffing when we meet in a few days - good times!
Bring on the Port Vale orderve this weekend, then onto L**ds to extend our winning streak against the Scummers
All about pride and passion and our boys won't let us down!
TTID!!!!

All about pride and passion and our boys won't let us down! Until when though? If we go a goal down early on Saturday then the place will be as quiet as ever and then every mis-placed pass, poor cross or wayward shot will get the groans and folk on the players backs. Or did this only happen because of the manager? The only way fans - especially the ones on here that are so happy to see the back of Ternent - will 'support' the manager and team is if we are winning a minimum of 50% of the games. Even that will be a push for some. Whoever is next will get no better treatment if results don't go his way.

if the new manager doubles the wage bill, spends 500k, unbalances the squad, loses games, plays poor football, comes out with strange post match comments, and we are 19th in the league.......in 6 months time, then yeah - the same will happen again
but if DH makes a decent appointment, and we start winning games - the new manager will be given all the time he needs
i think the first anti-ternent feeling at any of the games only occured in the last week or so.........not bad for a man who did such a miserable job for us
definitely a positive thing sacking him now.....maybe there is life in this season yet! ;D

HuddsTerrier - maybe youo don't but others do.
Floyds - Jacko and Ritchie didn't spend tons of cash etc. but as soon as things got a bit difficult the fans were on their teams backs. We had a positive, passionate crowd at the L***s game and the Birmingham game. That was it.
