According to todays London Lite newspaper Aidy was on £450,000 a year contract and has been offered a £200,000 pay off. I wonder whether even Dean can afford this level of salary plus his assistants, coming on top of big payoffs for the departed four.

It pays to be a rubbish football manager doesn't it! I got sacked from John Cottons Mirfield in 1990 and didnt get a bloody penny!!!!!! I never gave them their copper wire back though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We wouldn't be paying that - I mean I wonder what Martin Allen is on at Cheltenham compared to what he was paid at Leicester? Also I suspect Newell won't be on as much at Grimsby as he was at Luton, etc I'm sure Town and Boothroyd could agree a package that suited both parties ... although we may have to reduce Unsworth's pie bonus a bit
