How accurate is the assumption that the new man will be Hoyle's choice alone?
Who else if anyone, has been involved in the interview and decision making process?
I heard Davy was away on a long holiday a while back. Is he still away and has he given the green light for Hoyle to act independently on this appointment?
It all sounds a little bit "too good to be true" and I'm begining to wonder what factors could be delaying and or contributing to our non-appointment thus far.

Delays = Dean Hoyle making sure he finds the right manager with similar ideas on how to take the cluub forward.
Also could be Hoyle waiting for the "right man"

Hopefully Dean Hoyle will judge for himself who he thinks is the best candidate for the job, with no influence from a certain Mr G Murphy.
If Murphy doesn't agree with who DH wants then maybe it's time to have a whipround, buy him a carriage clock and say "thanks for the hard work Gerry, time to give it up".
And look for a new Director of Football Development.
