Well, he scored goals. Did okay, I thought.
Where's our goal outlet now? We can't keep relying on the midfield for goals.

Can't see them grabbing a great deal of goals though.
On Tuesday, I think that had we had a decent outlet/target, we'd have won the game.
With Boothy or Beckett playing (yes, he's now left), I think we'd have pulled off a 2 or 3-1 win.
We got into positions, but there was no-one to finish/aim for.
Dicko may have been frustrating, but he got results.

Dicko may have been frustrating, but he got results. He wasnt a target in any way shape or form. He couldnt hold it up, actually he couldnt get it under control to hold it up in the first place. Backed out of most headers and only ever looked interested when we won a free kick on the edge of the box. I agree we need a target but if anyone thinks Dickinson is a good player for that role then they're having a laugh.

No, I mean - we needed a Booth or Beckett to target.
Dickinson wasn't the ideal target, but he could score goals, if the ball was played in to his feet.

He scored goals. He can't be responsible for keeping them out at the other end as well, especially being a lone striker!

He's just scored his first Championship goal, one step towards proving his doubters wrong!

Yup, that quick that I hadn't even managed to finish my post! Well done to him, hopefully he carries on scoring and can prove that he is capable of cutting it in the championship. I just hope that Blackpool ship a few goals too, I miss the freezing cold "temporary" stand followed by a good night out

3 of Dicko's goals were Free-kicks, out of 6 goals. Not what I'd call "results" IMO.

How many free kicks have gone in direct since he left? Surely that should be some indicator of his ability!

Should we not be scoring from open play rather than relying on free-kicks?

Doesnt really matter if we score from 20 yards or two. He had the unfortunate habit of scoring, which must be a real drain for a striker! He'd have bagged about 5 on Tuesday against Orient

Said it at the time, this guy is a great goalscorer, however, our long ball tactics offered him no service. As Philex says, the fact that he scored 3 free kicks shows his talent.
I would go as far as saying, if Dickinson was still here now under Murphy he would be banging them in

He's a decent player. He is not a decent target man, hence looking gash (mostly) for us. If he was still here he'd be looking good now we play football and not hoofball. He needs it in to feet/channels.

Not doubting his talent; it's evident he can score goals.
But he just wasn't as good as I was made to believe...
He could have had a lot more goals from open play IMO.

True I would hope that the team could score more from open play but he was the only striker that we had that was scoring from open play or set pieces!
