www.htafc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10312~1468969,00.html There is the link for quicker access ^. I think its best for both parties to be honest. Clear out Jevons as well and then sign at least 1 centre forward and we should improve a bit.

I wish the man well, cant fault him as he always made an honest effort at least. But yes, this is in the best interest for all involved.

I wish him well, but I never wanted us to sign him in the first place.

Least he did try, the mind might have been more agile than his legs of late but can't moan about his effort. Scoring rate not bad either 33 goals in 72 full starts, plus subs.

Good luck Luke and thank you for playing for Huddersfield Town. 33 goals in 70 odd games is a good return.
Especially thanks for the winner v Oldham in the cup last season and the cross that Chrissy Brandon scored the winner from v Birmingham.

Absolutely echo the sentiments above. Luke always gave his best for Town in my opinion. He may have lost his pace a fair bit over the last couple of seasons but he was a grafter a decent finisher, as his stats suggest. He will be an AWESOME signing for Gainsborough though! Best of luck Luke.

I'd have kept him , played him in the next game and bombed out Jevons instead!!!!! He's the only natural goalscoring striker we have on the books and to let him go is scandalous. I hope we are in for some new loan signings before the window shuts, if not we're in trouble!!!!

All the best to Luke Beckett, pity it turned sour in the last couple of seasons. I am seriously worried about the lack of striker power though.

Cheers Luke, good luck at Gainsborough. Would have thought he was still too good for THAT level though!

All the best Luke. He always gave it 100% and it's a real shame that his legs have gone as he was still the best finisher at the club.
