Am I right in thinking that Dean Hoyle was the one who said that things must change at the club regarding the fans being kept in the dark?
No one is suggesting that he should come out and state who the main target is but, he could very easily refute some of the ridiculous rumours that are now emerging.
All that the genuine fans have ever asked for is to be kept informed(within reason) what is going on at the club we support.
Is it possible that the fact we are trying to recruit our 4th manager in 15 months has damaged our credibility within the industry, people in all walks of life become wary of those who gain a reputation for being difficult employers.
Like some earlier posters I am concerned that we may be now be starting to drift, say for example that we only took 1 point from the next 3 games, momentum would be lost.
I am certain that Mr Hoyle only wants the best for the club(after all he will soon be playing with his own money) I just feel that a ittle more communication with the fans would be of help.

Put yourself in a manager's position thought. If Deano mentions names, and manager's don't want the press to know, then it has a negative effect!
Just look at 'Big' Phil Scolari, when he was mentioned being linked to the England job!

Mr Hoyle was in France last week so not much happened at our end that they can give an update on.
Adkins is ironing out his settlement with Scunny.
He'll be announced once he's cleared to leave and he's subsequently signed a contract.
Our Christmas fixture could turn out to be a bit spicy.

I think Dean should stay quiet - if he denounces every link that we get then we'll be able to workout who the next boss will be via process of elimination and so will everyone else which puts us at a disadvantage when bargaining with the new manager or the new managers club for compensation.
FWIW I think that we've aimed high and are slowly getting knocked back by all high profile managers such as Boothroyd et al who are stalling for as long as possible for other jobs that are coming up.... I'm not going to hold my breath for Big Sam either... The best we can hope for is probably Adkins and that probably sums up my over whelming feeling of a forthcoming anti-climax.

I don't blame him for keeping quiet. I can understand him taking his time. What I do think is we definitely need a new man in by the January transfer window, ideally 2 or 3 weeks earlier. Once you allow a club to drift under a caretaker manager, it can be pretty hard to get going again.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
I'll leave him to it! As above, he needs to be here before jan window to take advantage - assuming he will want 1/2 in (maybe he's already in action with 2/3 out)

No. He shouldn't publically state what his expectations will be for next season, who is on the shortlist, who has been approached either for that matter. Just causes trouble
