findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4158/is_/ai_n14311565With "his" team dead and buried (nothing to play for) he put in a man of the match performance....... against our team who had everything to lose... That defeat was as bad as a play-off defeat, the day we got relegated from (the now) championship, the dodgy late goal at home to Wimbledon in the FA Cup.......etc etc Lets hope he can bring some of that drive / passion to the 'Mac......

Stood there on that terrace with my wife 5 months pregnant at the time. My little girl is 8 now and I just got her a pink n white town shirt - how time flies!
Thing is, since that day (in all honesty) its been downhill...... time has flown but we haven't had much fun.... apart from two l@@ds wins!!

Are we 100% sure Deano has signed him as manager?
Maybe he plans to use him as a goalscorer?

They got the date wrong - it was actually Sunday May 7 when we played Fulham.
I should know, it was a milestone birthday for me that day & instead of being sensible celebrating it with family up here we went to the match. An absolute disaster. Seems like only yesterday.
Boy did we hate Bruce & the team that day. They never looked as if they were going to get any sort of result but a defeat.

I remember that day well. It all started so well; a few tins in the park whilst soaking up the sun, looking forward to a playoff clinching celebration later that day. Oh how wrong I was. I'll never forget that overwhelming feeling of dissapointment after that game. A truly pathetic, spineless performance. Grrr...

And the permanently 'injured' Ken Monkou joking with the backroom staff as he walked away in his shiny suit, no doubt laughing at how much we were paying him to not play...

We did have a laugh though ... anyone else remember the fight between two Town fans that resulted in one of them being dragged backwards around the pitch with the old bill unaware that his trackie bottoms were catching on the grass and getting pulled down?
