While fully appreciating what Gerry Murphy has done for us in his 3 spells as caretaker I hope that all at Town have noticed the marked difference between 1st attempt (with Dungworth & Booty) and 2nd and 3rd attempts with Graham Mitchell,
With the greatest respect to Gerry, his age means that his future active involvement with the club will be limited whilst Grahams youth means that he could have a very bright future with us.
Lets hope that Lee Clark will recognize Grahams ability and keep him involved in a high profile role.
What lies in front of us now could be some of the best times ever to be a town fan, only time will tell but, its just possible that Dean Hoyle has pulled off a masterstroke of an appointment.

As I mentioned in another thread, if he's interested I can't see why Mitchell couldn't fully take over the Academy when Gerry retires, it can't be that far away. If he's not interested in the youth side he might just have to move on.
