Browsing around and according to the Darlington website Clarky wants him back in January to have a look.
Good to increase competition?

I thought he's played well for us, doesn't matter if he didn't do a job there as it was to 'regain match fitness' when now murphy's not incharge anymore however much that rumour was true, the more competition the better tbh, I think flynn gives a good example of leadership when he's on the pitch.

I thought he was one of our better players, when not shoved out on to the wing. Happy to have him back in the squad!

Don't mind Flynn. He reads the game well, gets into scoring positions and he's a better striker of the ball than say Worthington (but then who isn't?) No world beater but a decent squad player. Clark's doing the right thing to judge him on merit playing with the players he'd be with if taken back permanently.

He did a decent job when played as a central midfield pairing. NOT on the wing, that aint his position.

No matter who he is, clark should want to look at him.
Not done that badly since he went have we though (hides in case of attack from flynn is ace cos he scors goals from midfield brigade).
Break won't have done him bad - and he would come back fresh and away from the 'stan's puppy' tag.
In all seriousness, he is a genuine attacking threat in the box - good positioing, good in the air, picks up the 2nd ball in the box well and gives 100%.
But on the other side, he reads the game poorly from a defensive point of view, loses his man far too easily, admits he's not the most mobile, not the best for tackling, passing or natural technical ability - but not the be all and end all.
However, his lack of mobility will restrict him in the way clark wants football played.
He can't play in a two man midfield even at this level because of the limiting factors above. He isn't a winger no matter how hard he might try, but can do a very good job in a 3 man midfield.

I only saw him twice, against Arsenal and Stockport, but he looked then like he would fit in better with a footballing, keep-the-ball team. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Clark has him back in the starting line-up soon.
Sounds like, from reading on here, he has that will-to-win attitude too. Keep him IMHO.

Quite like Flynn myself, good workrate, resonably skillful, good shot especialy when he plays in the centre. But Stan has left us a legacy of too many centrel midfielders and not enough width. A squad in our division really only needs 4 central midfielders whereas we have, Berrett, Worthy, Collins, Craney, Flynn and Goodwin, we also have Holdsworth who can play eithr FB or Midfield. So IMO we need to loos 2 out of the 6.
Ive heard that Jacko at Lincoln will be in for Worthy in January, but who else?

I also think Flynn is a decent player and scores a few but imo a bit of a luxury player and have a feeling he might not suit Mr Clark, tbh think he will go in january, if not I am fully behind any player wich is chosen !

Tin hat time but for me Flynn is a far better option in the middle than collins. I know he's scored a few goals lately but I'm convinced Flynn would've as well in a 5 man midfield. Collins is far too lightweight and goes missing for too much of the game, he needs some time in the gym

I think he is the midfield player most like Clark was in his day. If Clark likes looking in the mirror I think he will appreciate what Flynn can offer.
