For many years, although optimistic in early August I have felt sadly disillusioned by November in most years.
This August I felt the usual optimism which was soon shattered.
Then Deano took decisive action, the two GMs instilled belief into the lads and Lee Clark and his crew arrived. I can honestly say I not felt as upbeat as I do now for a long, long time.
Despite the poor record at Brunton Park I really do think that Town can come back tomorrow night with 3 points.
Am I deluded? Am I bonkers? (oh, er, there are no doubt some who think I am bonkers anyway, not just about HTAFC!) I do not think so. Since Stan left, forgetting the upset against Port Vale which was only a few days after ST left, Town has won 5 out of 6, conceded only 3 goals and outscored the opposition 8-3.
I shall not be surprised if Town go up, indeed I shall be surprised if they finish much below 6th place.
UTT! TTID!!

Every reason to be optimistic - we have a stonking back room, hungry manager and players who are starting to enjoy football again - 3-2 win for us today....................

That's the nature of football in general, not just Town me thinks.
