Come on people, have a bit of faith, we've still managed 5 out of 11 away wins which for town is pretty good. As long as our home form kicks on which will certainly become apparent in the next 9 days we still have an outside chance (24 games left for heavens sake and we're 10th!). We're only 1 point behind a team alot of people think will make the playoffs so why not us.....or we could just start slagging off the new management and be as quiet as possible at home. Up the Town!!

I agree, but its still bloody annoying when we can play so badly after doing so well. We are going to see how good Clark is now thats for sure, as hes seen both sides to this team now.

Listening to Oggy on Radio L**ds it was a case of Carlisle having a cracking performance and Town not showing up. The lack of a 20 goal striker was a clear position we need to fill the January window.

Agree we must be positive----left back and centre half is just as important imo.Our lack of pace and "nouse" at the back continues to be the root of most of our problems and has not been addressed in last few years.I believe Lee Clark will have clearly noted this and one or 2 other problems this afternoon

Having been at the game Tez I can confirm that Carlisle were far from "Cracking" i'd say they were average at best. We were poor and TBH they didn't really have to break sweat in order to beat us, at 3-0 they took the foot of the gas and if they hadn't it would have been a lot more than 3. We had maybe a 10 mins spell when we actually played, but still didn't create anything of any note. Plenty to work on thats for sure.

Got to agree Pozza, Carlisle aren't a good team at all and i'd like to think we'll finish above them come May. I bet Lee is looking forward to January as much as we are!

We're not even half way through the season yet, it's a bit silly. Then again, people were writing us off immediately when Stan was the manager and that was a few months ago. So it's been like this for a while.
We just need to give Clark a lot of time, in both transfer windows, let him and Faz get the training right, and Black to get them performing. And McDermott to boost the confidence. I'm confident in the management team but they've come at a very awkward, congested time in the season so it's hard to judge. Today was horrific but there's plenty of time yet.

Just look back to last Saturday. If Hereford had a decent striker or strikeforce that game could have finished 3-2 or even 4-2 to them with chances aplenty. Hope Clark and the gang address the probs asap before Scunny & Oldham chavs come to Town.

We have pay-check players .. none of them are interested in Promotion .. its the same for half the teams in this league .. lets win enough to keep everyone happy but not too many that we might have to play a couple of extra games at the end of the season!! Clark needs to buy some hungry for success players and get rid of half our squad IMO

So we've lost a game.
SO WHAT?
No team in this division can go a whole season without losing. Besides isn't our record against Carlisle really crap anyway?
Don't get rid of half the squad, just get rid of the players who don't show the pride and passion for the blue and white stripes (Lucketti springs to mind) that they should be.
And don't sack the fcuking manager. Its only one game FFS!

I agree with those that are remaining positive.
We have played well lately but lost on boxing day at somewhere I didn't expect us to win anyway.
I wasn't aware that the entire season rested on the boxing day fixture?

I think our run lately has gotten people a bit to positive. We're crap and we'll stay that way a couple of years still.

end of day wi lost a game so wot how come all of a sudden we have 2 be championship level sorry but patience is needed get a grip ffs I dont think its a case of folk "needing to get a grip" I think its more a case of people getting too carried away with the previous 6 games, and today has brough people back down to earth. I cant see any posts in this thread slaggin anyone off, more people pointing out that we maybe aint as good as we thought after the last 6 games. Anyone at the game today will tell you that we played nowhere near our potential, which to me is the most dissapoiting thing. If we'd have played to our potential then we'd have beat Carilsle quite easily. To come away losing 3-0 when you know your team is far, far better than how they performed is a bit of a kick in the balls.
