Wouldn't we end up just playing 4-5-1 though?

Wouldn't we end up just playing 4-5-1 though? Only in the same way that we've recently ended up playing 5-5-0 when Parker/Cads and Roberts have been drifting wide. The way I see it, you're changing the current formation by taking out a sweeper and putting in a striker, which should give us more goal threat. Ideally I'd like us to play 4-4-2, but I wouldn't play Parker, we need to use Cads out wide cause we don't have another winger (bar Kamara), so Jevons is the only real option up front, and Collins and Craney benefit from being in a midfield 3.

He did a fair few times last season, Holdsworth is wasted in defense would love to see him in the middle of the park again. Also, Williams is useless as a left back so would like to see him, as one of our only 2 available left footers, on the left side of midfield where for Barnsley he was always happier.
At any rate, he's completely lost at wingback, doesn't seem to know where to play, just points and runs about in circles. 3-5-2 is not for our team, even if Ternent did leave us with a squad half filled with CMs!
