if that happens ill give you my left bollock! Bet you're praying this one doesn't come off then, preston! Seems a little far fetched to me, too... but it's a credible source. No names, no pack drill!

wolves have better players and would be looking at better players to bring in,
i rate Collins he has potential, hes but lightweight and doesnt seem to concentrate enough but i think over next two years we will see him develop into a good midfield player with the coaching set up we now have

*Fed* to the wolves perhaps, but playing for them? Can't see it myself. If they offered decent money I'd be happy to see him go, looked a passenger again for spells last Sunday.

More chance of Richard 'Tricky Dicky' Hillman coming back from the dead and announcing his love.

Kleverboy
Did your source indicate a fee?
Whilst I'd be very sorry to see Collins go, he's currently occupying a position that James Berrett should be filling and if we could buy a decent left back (or better still a big striker - but surely we wouldn't get that much would we?) with the money then we could be improving the team in two areas.

I had heard there was interest in Collins but the fee offered was low.

tbh can see Berrett going somewhere before collins, Berrett is a great talent and plays with maturity, he could do a job in championship !

I think collins could easily. Playing with better players he's the sort who would step up to their level no problems.

Its a big step to go from league 1 to the prem though capn, and barring a disaster thats where wolves are heading. Would be surprised, but on the basis that we got a good fee it would be very difficult not to let the lad go for his own career as much as anything else.

It is but in some ways players seem to get a lot more time on the ball in the prem than they do at our hurly-burly level. Think Collins would really come into his own at a better level. He certainly didn't look out of his depth at Stamford bridge twice. What would you think was a good fee for him? Id be wanting somewhere around £750k plus the usual sell ons , to even consider it. Less than that I'd rather keep him and see how good he'll be for us in the championship

Less than that I'd rather keep him and see how good he'll be for us in the championship I think £750k is a bit topside personally, because their argument will be they are buying potential rather than finished article - i would take £4/500k plus payments for games played and a 20/25% sell on definitely - we would have room to manouevre elsewhere and to be honest as good as he has been from time to time, he still doesnt command games consistently for me and is not indispensible. Only time will tell i suppose!

If anyone comes in for Collins then we should take the money, he's a player we can easily do without - lots of better players (IMO) to take his place. I've never seen him hit a ball cleanly (he fools keepers by scuffing it every time) although, to his credit, he does get into good attacking positions.
Will never play in the Premiership - he's miles away. If we can get some half-decent money (£100K+) on the back of him popping up for the odd goal then take it.
