Wouldn't be a bad buy for Donny that. They need to get away from the drop asap.

Would we want him to still be there on Saturday to give him a good bye from t'Kilner? Save your breath for supporting town holmfirth - we saw last sun what booing a hated player so often does! We do not want to see that awful jig he does after scoring on sat !!!!

Could this leave him unsettled and his mind elsewhere on Saturday?

Slight difference though 7 - we booed him for his playacting on the pitch during the game and that i dont mind. What i dont like is the booing of former players or players who have been in the media for non footballing reasons cos when you do it has a habit of biting you up the arris!!!!!!!!! I remember delroy getting pelters at tranmere one year only for him to score the winner in last minute! Cant stand the thought of hughes dancing a jig in front of the antich after doing the same then cupping his ears and doing the shush sign with finger over the lips!!!

Those dirty pikeys have about as much money as West Ham United. There's no chance Lee Hughes is going there. No point leaving a side challenging for promotion, to join one that's going down.

Yeah but last week John "Big Club" Ryan announced the board had ploughed another million into the club to stabalise it and the other day their website had O Dreary saying they want him but won't pay 400K which is the release clause.

My understanding is that Lee Hughes is of a similar mindset to Martin Smith.. Money is the ONLY thing that matters.

A bit of a surprise one to me this. Surely there must be other options, younger and more likely to cut it in the Championship? ?? 13 is a decent haul but surely someone like Ricky Lambert would be money well spent in comparison to Lee Hughes? ? Unless they are doing it to leave Lambert for us
