Am I right to believe this game could be re-arranged if Leicester go through to the 4th round of the FA cup. Just wondered if anybody knew when the re-arranged fixture could be?

Yes it would be rearranged not sure when for presume it would have to be a midweek game?
Can't see them getting anything from Palace though so hopefully the game will go ahead.
Hope so anyway as planning a big one!!!

Certainly hoping Warnock can do us a favour tomorrow. Would much rather play them on a Saturday.

One of the worst away grounds i've ever been to. Don't be too despondent if you don't play them on a Saturday.

Hope Leicester go out, I'm taking the father in law and sister in law to this game (they live in Mansfield). Hopefully it will complete their conversations to terriers after getting them both singing "Oh to be a terrier" over Christmas ;D

One of the worst away grounds i've ever been to. Don't be too despondent if you don't play them on a Saturday. Cant be much worse than Barnsley I shall compare the two grounds for away fans....... Barnsley: Put behind the goal with a cracking view. Leicester: Put on a corner and struggle to see the other goal area. Barnsley: 5,700 seated area. Leicester: Less than half for teams visiting there. Barnsley: 19 quid for an away fan for championship football. Leicester: About 24 quid if I remember correctly for division three football. Barnsley: Well policed and stewarded, including only one way to possibly leave the stand so plenty of safety for fans. Leicester: Heavy handed police, heavy handed police and got to watch for a scutch from both sides when leaving the ground. Barnsley: Park at Metrodome and straight away or can use train. Leicester: Poor parking and get stuck in major traffic if parking anywhere near the ground.

Well I hope for your sake that Leeds don't get promoted, cos it's exactly the same as all of the above, except that it's £27 quid. Oh yeah, but you do get greeted by a load of pubescent chavvie ming-mongs outside the ground baying 'let em out - let em out', when your about to leave. Which is really really scary - honest.

The second time I said heavy handed police, I meant stewards lol. Basically we had Monty Panesar reffing our game and he was garbage. So the away section (not even a stand) started a "The referees from Leicester" chant and people got thrown out.

Lets kick racism out of football being adhered to. It is quite a funny chant though.

True but it was about Leicester getting all the decisions. If it was sang to a white ref somewhere else, nothing would have been made of it. Highlight was when at full time coppers stop all traffic to let coaches through and a Leicester fan dropped his pants and pulled a moony to us.

No I agree with you. They instantly reacted to how it could be interpreted.
The chant is clever because the song could be taken either way.

Quote from Barnsley fan "Barnsley: 19 quid for an away fan for championship football. Leicester: About 24 quid if I remember correctly for division three football."
Funny how when you get to the Championship it doesn't become League 2 anymore
I have to agree though - the away end at Barnsley is good

simon davey was probably 45 minutes from the sack until he turned it around with 10 men v donny! every dingle on radio sheffield was just about wanting him out! even after that amazing cup run last year and on a woeful budget compared to others with shocking crowds.
barnsley are punching well above their weight IMO and he deserved an OBE, not the abuse he gets!!!

Once I sussed the swimming kit on the passenger seat and into the metrodome it was easy.

Indeed "Dave" Moore bringing down their man to stop it being 2-0 probably saved the manager his job. We have a reight good side now and that's proved with beating Carling Cup semi finalists Burnley home and away for the double. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Davey out is a load of poo. His job is probably one of the safest in the league. We didn't play badly yesterday either. Flattered West Ham did that scoreline.

I'd rather avoid Leicester for the moment to be honest and would rather see us close the gap on the play offs before playing them.

i think it'll be all ticket. will we sell out the 3000 quick or will they be on sale long enough for general sale? want to take a couple of other people to this game. probably the hardest game in the league but i have a leeds-esque sneaking feeling we can nick something from this one
