Another big home league match for Town. Potential to bring back the half hearted fans & set the atmosphere alight for the rest of our home games. Will we bottle it again like we always seem to do in these matches? Biggest dissapointment I remember was vs Charlton under Bruce. We were on fire up to that match and everything just fizzled out after like a damp squib.......
I predict this year will be different...the reason ...a big injection of real optimism & excitement from the fans due to the new management regime. It comes just at the right time, early in the New Year, when the hard graft to get to the top really begins and teams currently in the top 6 fade away.

I think we will beat Oldham in a close game, they have drawn quite a few lately, we are looking stronger.

3-0 to the Town.
Oldham only have that Taylor who's a genuine threat.

If our crowd get behind the Team especially when we are flagging, we will win it. Rock and Roll Lads.

Be interesting to see How sheridan will approach the game. Yeah i think theyd take a point but teams who have come here and had a go generally have done well. If i was oldham boss with personnel they have i would come and attack.

Exactly Antichgeese, and even tho hereford arent a big team that game was a pressure game as well. 1-0 or 2-1 i reckon hopefully with a jevons goal.

Throw in these factors... *Legend Greavsy passing away (game in memory of IMO) *Oldham top 6 most of season *Us on a run with new staff *Roses derby *Hughes playing...cue the boos. Not bad set-up eh. Roll on 3pm.

Got to be in his memory imo....
Must admit I only started watching Town after we went back out of the first in mid 1970,s but what he did at Town was absolutely brilliant, great man by all accounts also. Dare we dream we might be on the verge of a very good side again ?

Don't jinx it nick! Greaves deserves this victory and i'm sure those players who know the history of the club etc will perform out of there skin for him.
