So thats what we got, from this "crucial period" what's everybody think? personally while I came away from today not too disappointed; with hindsight it's definitely 2 dropped. We shouldn't be scared of anyone in this league, we should have beat Leicester and that was without the confidence we now have. I hope today has shown Clark where our frailties lie, we need another centre back to bring experience and we are desperate for a strong "hold up" striker who scares defences, (as well as needing Andy Booth). I thought we bossed it in midfield and down the flanks, where Cadders and Roberts totally dominated but the front two are not doing their teamates any justice whatsoever. Jevons and Parker for all their endeavour look very lightweight, we simply haven't got time to wait for their "bit of luck" or "good game" they're not scoring so drop them and get someone in who will.
The goodwill the new management team have engendered will only carry us so far, time for tough decisions IMO.

You're right they did well, but I still feel they need genuine competition for their places.

Butler had his best game for the club, Clarke for the last month has been awesome - so not sure why we need another centre back - don't forget they have to cover William all the time - can't believe he is still playing the bloke is totally inept.

I thought williams played well. He got little defensive support from roberts and used the ball well most of the time

He's certainly the best left back at the club at the moment - though Unsworth is pound for pound the heaviest full back in our league

Im fed up with all this abuse williams gets. As soon as he does anything wrong everyone just gets at him like hes just shot their wife.He didn't have his best game today but he still played ok and they hardly had any other chances apart from there lucky goal. Holdsworth had a poor game tody and has been quite poor for last couple of weeks but nobody gives him any stick,
Give williams a break, ok hes not great positionally but that will improve the more he plays, hes improving all the time, puts in great crosses with his left foot and gets up and down the pitch well.

if we get a striker in we will be a good team and maybe 2 players off been a very good team
if boothy was playing at moment he would be rolling back the years with some of the chances hed be getting, still feel we need a younger fitter striker to come in though
