Why the chuff will ameobi come here or Carroll for that matter. Both getting games for Newcastle at the moment.
Also, Clark says he knows who he wants but is still discovering their attitudes etc. Surely he would know what these 2 are like already

I can't see Ameobi coming here at all, he's involved at Newcastle so why would he come?

Ameobi can be a donkey but would rip it up at this level. Carroll would also be excellent in league one

Wouldnt like to think what ameobi is earning either, 30k maybe? Doubt he will leave his fat contract to come here on 5k

Yeah I imagine he is on at least 25k a week and would have very very little interest in dropping out of the Premier for League 1.

Looking at the squad though, when everyone is fit, those 2 or 5th and 6th choice at best.

There is no chance at all of signing shola ameobi!
Andy carroll could be a potential signing on a loan deal, but he was on loan at preston last season - chances are newcastle will want him to gain experience at that level rather than league 1.

Newcastle have one of the smallest squads in the Premiership. Kinnear has been told he has to wheel and deal to bring in new players, but I'd be amazed if Town got any of Ameobi, Carroll or Harper. I suppose Carroll is a possibility as a loan, but nothing more from Newcastle IMO.

I really wanted Carroll, but all my Newcastle supporting mates say he's got an attitude problem; he went to Preston or somewhere on loan and was more interested in getting hammered than playing. There's no chance of Ameobi, I really really can't see it. He's a cult legend at Newcastle; the only black geordie .

Easy rumours, Clark used to play for Newcastle, we need a striker. 2+2 = 115

Anyone who thought Dickinson didn't look involved will have a field day with Ameobi. Not the type of forward we need at present IMHO.

Are you sure it's not SAMI AMEOBI we're looking at? Apparently he's been doing very well for Newcastle's Academy/Reserve teams...

Tomi Ameobi would be closer to the truth to be honest.
