Mr Clark's preference is KEVIN PHILIPS who will be offered a player coach position but despite him having a clause at Brum which allows him to leave for such a post all is not yet settled at Brum. Hopefully Mr Clark will have his last piece of his backroom jigsaw soon!

I thought Clark wanted someone to "bridge the gap between first team and academy" or summat like that, can't see Phillips doing that if he's busy training everyday & playing every game for the first team.
