The Peacock was closed because the landlord is away on holiday, and he did'nt want his pub open while he was'nt there.

Couldn't believe the amount of police in and around The Bridge (Sparkys) at Longroyd Bridge. Presuming something kicked off there....?

There was a bus full of Oldham fans with a convoy of 10 police cars being driven along Leeds Road at 1pm. Think they were being taken to that pub by Leeds Rd Playing Fields (Sorry - forgotten name)
10 cars is a bit much just for one bus!

There was a load of Oldham fans in the White Horse opposite the ICI on Leeds road. There was two double deckers there and a load of old bill, but there was no trouble.

The average fan does not go to Thornton Lodge before the game. The average away fan will always go to a boozer near the ground. But if you enjoy a more extreme away day thornton lodge will probably be off the police radar.

With it being on the A62 i doubt the police would have thought likewise, the police were even at oaks/bay horse at 9.30 this morning!

They were in force in the middle of Bradford today at 8.45 in the morning FFS.
Cheeky buggers did one of them 'random' searches on me.
