REading the post match comments of Lee its like adifferent universe compared to the past manager who was an egomaniac. Lee is so positive and seems a true gentleman, He constantly talks of all other players out of first team squad are so important and tells them so. He still thinks and knows we can improve and play at a higher tempo. Superb and refreshing, top bloke, we will go places with this manager. We seem so much more professional as we should have always been.

I heard his interview on Radio L**ds which contained a priceless piece of humour. Oggie said one of his questions was a bit facetious and Clark's instant comeback was that he didn't know the lad 'facetious' - did he play in Cyprus?

Spot on Nick.I lost half the interview as I lost the signal around Matlock on the way home last night so read the official site this morning. You really can't fault the bloke.I am old enough to remember Ian Greaves and had a few cherished memories today. However,Greaves was obviously in an era without the same media sources as today so it isn't possible to compare what he used to say but I can honestly say that I cannot remember a Town manager so in tune with the fans and our own needs and wishes. He talks from the heart and with passion for a club he has only known 2 minutes.Don't underestimate Dean Hoyles part in this.I suspect that Lee feels how he does because he has terrific solid backing from his boss which any employee will tell you is vital if you are to achieve your aims and ambitions.TTID>

He certainly appears to be a different class, and comes across well in interviews - will be interesting to see how he copes when we get to the business end of the season.....I am sure he'll remain top drawer......

Lee Clark is a different class completely from Stan. The old guy was old school and it was all about him but he wasn't to blame when it went wrong. Clark comes across as being so approachable and offers comment and a way forward after every game. Roll on these signings and Northampton...
