I know it' a week away but after another good performance yesterday I can't wait for next Saturdays trip down to Northampton. Is anyone planning on getting down there early? If so are there any away fan friendly pubs where we can meet up for a few beers and maybe a little sing song? Four of us travelling down by car with a fridge full of cans in the boot so we will be in high spirits by the time we hit Northampton!!

everyone usually goes upto the bowling alley at the top of the hill behind the ground. The bar area is large and plenty space/ relaxed atmosphere.
see you there.....

Anyone who would rather not drink in a Hungry Horse or a bowling alley may find The Rover more to their tastes: www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/74/7452/Rover/NorthamptonIt is a 5-10 minute walk from Sixfields on the way down into town along Weedon Road (Quite close to the rugby ground). As a Northampton resident I would suggest that the walk could well be worth it as it is much more like what I would call a proper pre-match venue.
