www.htafc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10312~1508980,00.html Just noticed at the bottom of this that they have returned. Unless they are going to go out elsewhere, I find it a bit strange as they are not going to be playing for us. Unless of course Woking weren't interested in keeping them on, which is slightly alarming as to their prospects

Presumably they have come back ASAP so Lee can have a look at them

Yeh, I think I'd rather have left them out on loan and watched them there to be honest.
I trust Lee Clark's judgement though so I'm sure all will be well.

Presumably they have come back ASAP so Lee can have a look at them The most likely reason. He will want to take a good look at them before deciding who to offload in the next few weeks. Whilst he has said he is happy with the commitment from players, i don't think he has said he is happy with the quality of them all..........

I do feel that the club needs to look long and hard at the players we have on our books. I think we all know that there are some that need to find other clubs. I do not know of any ins or outs so far for the transfer deadline. When this time of year approaches most clubs have a plan of what they would like to change. As we all know this does not always come off.
Our predicament is that the new coaching staff have not really had long enough in the job to decide on some of the fringe players. This always leaves clubs at a disadvantage when installing new staff at this time of the season.
My feelings are that we need 3 players, striker, mid-field and central defender. We cannot score goals, mid field distribution/tackeling is lacking and we also defend poorly. To get promotion this squad would have to play beyond their ability every week. I do not think that they can do that.

The other thing we've got is that Lee Clark has never signed a player in his life, and the person at Town who used to do all the contract negotiation is no longer at the club.
Learning experience all round...lets hope they get it right.

Lee Clark has said that he has been involved in contract negotiations and that he wont be taken for a mug just because it is his first managerial appointment.
