i didn't get a season ticket due to the ex - thought i was moving away from the area so couldn't attend matches anymore.
since then, the relationship has broken down
and i've lost my job
so i can't afford a half season ticket to go.
woe is me

I'll be in bloody Berlin with 45 sixteen year old school kids. Wife is also due to deliver on the 25th of Feb, but High Blood pressure may bring it forward. I could potentially miss the birth and Town's win

I'll be there, my girlfriend understands. Taking her out in the evening. I said 'If it was a week day we'd be in uni anyway so wouldn't see much of each other.' Nicely done.

Yep, I'll be there. Going up to the Lakes for a week and my wife has very kindly offered to drive up there with the children so I can go to the game and then get the train ;D The boredom of a 3 hour journey is well worth it!!!

How is it so many Town fans appear to have booked trips and arranged things when we play probably most important home match of the season !!!

How is it so many Town fans appear to have booked trips and arranged things when we play probably most important home match of the season !!! Because the school trip has to be booked 10 months in advance to give parents a chance to pay in installments and the fixtures don't come out until June. That's my excuse anyway!!

Anyone expecting a birth should have no worries. Having done it 3 times myself, in all likelyhood you'll get the nod that shes gone into labour, then some 12 hours later you'll still be waiting for the action to start. So go to the game, take the mobile, if you happen to get the call during the game, finish watching the game and only stay an hour in the pub on the way home.
