Could he do the "missing link" role between academy and 1st team that Lee talked about?

no doubt it, if it was him it'd have already happened by now.

No I meant 'could he do the role' rather than 'is he the person Lee is after'?

Glad to hear that. I had the good fortune to meet him and talk to him in the player's bar after one match when I was over. Sounded very intelligent. He might be able to teach the kids something about holding the ball, not giving it away cheaply, non-hoof football, etc.

he could probably do the job, but would look a little out of place in a backroom staff containing the likes of mcdermott and fazackerley!!

Maybe - while he's at it - he can teach them how to score goals like the one mentioned above against Torquay. The best I have seen at this ground - well up until Mark Allot's effort for Oldham last Satday. Seriously - I hope he shows a few of them that they have TWO feet to kick the ball with - come to that he could show some of our first-teamers the same thing.... UTT

Ye youre right, town dont score anywhere near enough screamers. remember that one mcaliskey scored a couple of seasons back just after half time, cant remember who we were playing. that was his biggest contribution to the club!

The most one footed player we've ever had? Fortunately, you don't necessarily have to be able to "do" to "teach" ;D ;D We could get Clyde Wijnhart back to teach the offside rule ;D ;D (By the way, if I didn't get the spelling of Wijnhart right, it's in keeping with the thread title).

UTT this the two footed carss who gave shitty the goal the last time they won here after turning round and round and round looking for someone to pass to with his left foot rather than use his right

Scored a pretty nice free kick up at Sunderland, what a night that was.
