Will Alex Smithies be shining a new contract soon? Just seen on OS mobile site thats Clark hopes to report some positive news regarding Alex in the next few days, maybe the reports of Chelsea sniffing round has made Town realise they need to tie him down to a longer deal.

at the meeting 2night he said that he had agreed a deal and was hoping it would be signed n sorted before Northampton

A little off subject, but just reading about the HW meeting on the OS; the artice refers to Smithies's new contract, and it raises a question I've always wondered the answer to ----- can somebody tell me why oh why are keepers referred to as custodians?!
