Number to ring is 01604 683700.

Hope it isn't called off! Last Town match that i can remember being called off was like 3 years ago? After all that rain and the River was touching the bridges that ran over it!

I'm surprised by the -4 forecast for tonight.
East Leake is 60 miles North of Northampton & I've not even had to scrape the car over the last two mornings. Nowhere near as cold today as earlier in the week.
Loughborough (closest Town to EL) also has a -4 forecast tonight - struggling to see it at moment.

actually im not being a gloom n doom merchant,im stating facts,n thats that the temperatures all week have suggested the game may be at risk-the fact northampton have recommended that our fans ring up tomorrow morning before travelling is proof that even now they recognise that there is still a risk of it being called off, even if that risk isnt massive-if they were 100% certain it was going to be on,they'd be able to say to all fans 'its definitely on regardless, you wont need to ring up and double check on saturday morning as we can 100% guarantee the game will go ahead regardless of overnight conditions'

I'm with Stevvy on this. No guarantees that the game will be on at all. Additionally going by that logic maybe the team should stay in Hudders till 10am, check that the game is on and then leave when they get confirmation. I would imagine that the hotel and organisation has been booked for weeks

The team havn't travelled down today as htsa southern branch tried to arrange a meeting down there before the match to be told they couldn't get any management to attend due to them travelling down on the day.
I'd rather wait and see what conditions are like tomorrow - with it being so cold tonight down there it might change things.

Leamington (around 45 mins from the ground) is covered in freezing fog right now.
weather.com says it's -4 overnight.
Hopefully the shoe-makers are bothered enough to keep the pitch covered and they aren't all over at Franklins Gardens making sure their beloved egg-chasing against Leicester is on.

I apologise if I misled anyone with this sh8*te Despite it being quite mild at lunchtime, when I left work this evening (about 1900) I had to scrape the car. Looks like it's going to be a cold one tonight. Not hopeful now for tomorrow. Moral of story - if you want to know about the weather - ask a weatherman (or Stevvy???) - not an accountant.
