You're ahead 1-0 away from home, and once again your hard working defence has managed to win the ball and clear it upfield..........The ball comes over your right shoulder in a left central position deep into your opponents half, there are minimal defenders around you and only one fellow attacker in support.....do you...... A/ Try and control the ball and take it towards the corner flag to waste some more time (at least 2 minutes ago the refs assistant held up the 3 minute board) Or B/ Try some impossible smart arsed fancy dan back flick to your fellow attacker which if it didn't work could ultimately result in your opponents taking the ball back upfield and scoring an equaliser in the last minute FFS! If you're name is Gary Roberts then the answer will be "B" For everybody else with an ounce of common sense then the answer will undoubtably be "A" Gary......This season you are without a doubt one of my favourite players....in fact......up to press....probably my player of the season...... WERE YOU THINKING?

I picked secret option 3 whereby I use my mind powers to shift the referees watch forward 1 minute.

And then, by all accounts, he has a go at Collins!
I'm confused... shouldn't he have been holding his hands up?

Maybe he should of but i think he was upset about it as after the goal we were playing better with confidence but hey mistakes happen and its costs up 2 points but i am sure it wont happen again

Apart from that, this is a forum to debate and discuss all aspects of Huddersfield Town, including individuals performances......which is exactly what I'm doing....or would you rather I say "we were unlucky that an annonymous footballer failed to control a pass which ultimately led to an equaliser"?

I was as pissed off as anyone having frozen my ass off but for christs sake it was a simple error. The team got a good point today, which we would have taken beforehand or in many other circumstances. What if Roberts & Cads hadnt torn strips off their full backs all 2nd half, we would have created nothing and may have lost. Lets stop this pointless over analysis and get a sense of perspective.

Pointless over analysis my arse! he's a bloody class senior player who should have known better. That cost us 2 points and for me, nearly 1 finger and 4 toes due to frost bite! I'M COMMENTING ON A MAJOR TURNING POINT OF THE GAME....HELLO!!!!!!!!!! TOPICAL CONVERSATION TIME ON A TOPICAL MESSAGE BOARD.....YES?

It should just be kept in the context of a good display by him. Glad they had a ding-dong too, shows a bit of passion. Maybe he will think he owes the team next week and really turns on the style, lets just not get carried away and shatter his confidence. As for the cold...I have never felt such comfort from standing over a trough of stranger's steaming urine, letting the heat warm my hands and eventually, face. Wrong I know but if you were there you would understand

That wasn't a mistake...it was f*cking stupid! It doesn't seem that long since Gerry Murphy was telling Cads to take the ball into the corner and run down time at Bellend road when we scored the winner! That time it came off, this time it didn't and they equalised. It's a funny old game isn't it!

Yes but at that time at Bellend road we were looking at improving on a well earned point away from home. Today we already had 3 (three) well earned points away from home and there was no need whatsoever to try and improve on the position. I like Gary Roberts, like I said earlier he's probably my player of the season so far, but he's not beyond criticism, and he should shoulder a considerable proportion of blame for todays loss of 2 points ........and also for my abject dissapointment and near loss of valuable extremities due to the cucking fold weather

WHat I'm trying to say is at 1-1 Cads losing the ball and us losing would have turned a hero into a villan and we would have been saying the same thing. In the context of the game is that we'd got what we were happy with (an equalizer). Both made the same call with differing results.

Hmmm we'd have dropped a point and come away with nowt which to be honest, most would have expected. We siezed the opportunity and manufactured a goal which ultimately gave us the full three points. My gripe over today was we already had the game won....three points in the bag.......against a dejected team of 10 who we had contained for more than 90 minutes......there was absolutely no need to piss about with fancy back heals at that particular point of the game. But hey ho! que sera sera,no use crying over spilt milk. pull up our socks and dust ourselves down, take each game axs it comes.....cliché cliché cliché etc...etc...etc I've made my point, Gary Roberts you want F*cking with the wide end of a rag mans trumpet for that....time to move on.......

blaming individuals divides the team
win as a team
lose as a team
draw as a team

It was stupid, you could tell he knew it though by his reaction after the final wistle when he was throwing his paddy. He was simply trying to pass the blame onto collins as he knew deep down he'd ballsed up and didn't want to admit it.
I think we had dropped to deep though and were inviting them the throw balls into the box.

I blame Collins more than Roberts (although I dont really blame either of them, it was just one of those things)
The pass that Collins played was behind Roberts, which caused him to be in front of the ball when he tried the "impossible smart arsed fancy dan back flick" If Collins would have played a better ball then i'm sure Roberts would have taken it to the corner. As it happens he couldn't and just stopped the ball going out for a throw in by hooking back to Collins.
Its been & gone now, i'm sure they will have learnt from it, and Clark will make sure it doesn't happen again.
