I don't think that big fat lumper of a donkey Akinfenwa has ever before and will never again hit the ball as well as that in his life. Shocked...

Shocking defending for there goal Maybe Williams would have blocked that shot, if he hadn't pansied out of it and turned his back like a big girls blouse. He looks like someone who's more concerned about getting smacked by the ball than he is about saving a last minute equaliser.

Shame as he had a really good game but then tarnished it by doing that. It was such a poor goal to concede

Just watched it again and Ive changed my opinion a little. He still doesn't look like he wants the ball to hit him, but hes turned his back on it because hes so flaming usless on his right foot, hes twisted his body to try and get his left foot over to block the shot!! If hed gone with his right foot ( which was NEARER the ball as he faced up to the shot) ) he could well have blocked that effort! FFS Williams!

and Clarke would have stopped the whole thing happening if he'd have stood up to Akinfenwa in the first place, rather than trying to win the first challenge by coming round the big man. He then got himself back into a position where he could have effectively tracked Akinfenwa's position on the edge of the box, but got drawn towards the ball instead, leaving the big fella with a clear sight. He was more culpable than Williams. Both had good games though and the whole goal could have been stopped a long time before with a little more thought from Roberts on the break.
It was a sickener, but in all honesty, a draw was a fair result. Up until the goal, they had been the better side in the second half (after an even first half). The goal galvanised us and we pressed for a second, could have had one too. Fair play to Northampton though, they put on an extra forward when down to ten (Benjamin) and he caused us some problems. It was his cross that broke for the equaliser. It could have broken anywhere, it was just one of them things. I don't think we threw it away, nor did we sit back and invite pressure. We tried to kill the game with a second goal, which was pleasing to see, even if it did ultimately cost us the points.

Cheers for the link fella, wish I could have made the game, looks like it was a good 'un.
Like a few folk on here, I think we have to keep the result in perspective - a lot of people seem more bothered that we lost two points here than got thumped 3-0 by Carlisle!! It just shows how impatient town fans are when one minute we 'accept' a 3-0 loss and then are peed off at what is actually a decent result!!

I think people are more peed off with When they scored rather than the result itself. We all know Its Horrible to concede with the last kick off the game. Had they scored the equaliser after 60 - 70Mins then most people would have been more than happy with a point. Against carlisle we never looked like taking a point, whilst we were so close to taking all 3 on Saturday. Still, Things are looking up. TTID!!!

roberts went down a bit easy dint he ! Looks that way from that angle, but he didn't he was clearly fouled, the Northampton defender doesn't even try and protest that it wasn't a foul.

Just watched the Leeds highlights on there too, great performance from Graham. Excellent interplay for him to help setup the 2nd goal. Sign him up!

Game could have ended about 4-4. The build up play before the red card was great, stretching the team on the counter attack. Roberts did seem to go down a bit easily though.
Both teams need a half decent striker.

Also when your running at full speed like he was it doesn't take much to knock you over. Happens all the time and people say players dive or go down too easy but just try running at full pace yourselves and see if you can stay upright when someone clips you!
