Thank god that the management team have recognised the need for a left back!

I finished work and raced down to blackburns training ground to see the equaliser, then a minute later the final whistle to go, so didn't get a good look at anyone. our number 3 didn't appear familiar, and unsuprisingly boothy wasn't on the pitch by then either. Glennon wasn't impressed with the defenders when their goal went in!

r. Glennon wasn't impressed with the defenders when their goal went in! I suspect the Examiner will tell us that "Glennon didn't have a chance with the goal"

he was diving at full stretch, but the right back didn't close down their winger quickly, allowing a looping cross, and there were plenty of players back to defend the cross. Think that was his annoyance

It was a (very, very, poor - obviously) go at the Examiner. If you read any report, in the little review giving marks to each player, (even we we get stuffed((especially when we get stuffed))), Glennon/Smithies "didn't have a chance with the goal/any of the goals.

I think it's great they're being kept 'relatively' secret - means other clubs can't swoop in as easily.

im glad hes going to go down the line of sorting friendlys out rather than just relying on the reserve league indeed, this is a genuinely proactive and intelligent course to take. along with the match fitness againist higher claibur opponents, there will be real bridge building and links with higher levels players to be cultivated. this lad surely looks more each day to be the real deal.
