We may need cover at right back but I doubt he fits the bill. And as for left back I'd rather have unsworth.

tomtheterrier you my son are a farce of a man.
Chris Longster (AKA the Lobster) is a semi-pro playing in the north west counties league so of course we could afford him.
I would also suggest a bid for Shola Ameobi on loan even though he has no technical ability

newcastle hardly have any fit players, let alone fit strikers-what makes you think they'll let him go,even on loan?and the only way it'd happen is if newcastle paid his wages, because he'll be on alot of money

We need to sign Chris Longster we NEED to sign him?why do we NEED to sign someone that basically no1 has ever heard of?we may consider it,but we dont NEED to

we NEED to sign the Lobster because unlike most of our players he has imense technical ability and is destined for the prem! If we sign him maybe he could take us along with him for the ride

so you're saying someone who's a semi-pro playing in the north west counties league is destined for the premiership?based on what exactly?
|
|
|
Post by lancsray on Jan 16, 2009 14:34:27 GMT 1
Based on his technical ability and his imense desire

Stevvy, come on, have a bit of sense about you mate.

if he has such good technical ability he wouldn't be a semi pro playing in the north west counties league,he'd be at a premiership club already-they have more than enough scouts to look that low down the ladder and pick out players who they think can make the grade

tomtheterrier have you ever seen the Lobster play? If so where and when and if not how can you comment on his potential rise to premiership football

Yes he should be in the premiership already and he has had several offers including Sunderland and Fulham. He rejected these to concentrate on his biomedical sciences degree which finishes in may so we should offer him a deal now before the big boys come in

tomtheterrier have you ever seen the Lobster play? If so where and when and if not how can you comment on his potential rise to premiership football Surprisingly i've witnessed the Lobster play on many occassions. I might even be training with him in a few hours. I'd say Billy Hill's would give you good odds the Lobster ever playing Premier League football. Did you spot him in our club shop Ray from Lancaster?

If you are as you claim tomtheterrier trainning with the lobster tonight you will be able to confirm how good this man is. I will be going to willy hills later and placing a £35 double on Chris Longster and Phil Scullion playing premiership football by the year 2015
