Having my post match pint after the game with a big smile on my face and who walk in Danny Wilson ? Swindons manager.... Think he was with Viv Anderson, they all seemed in very good spirits to say they had just lost to us.
Seemed a bit weird he wasn't still at the ground with his team..
Maybe, thats why they're going down, thats why they're going down..

Unless Viv has turned into a small white fella he wasn't there post match but he was in there pre match.

Yeah, the clue is in the title..... I'm just pointing out that they were never in there together. They were each in there with the same group of shirts one before (Viv) and one after (Danny). Anyway was Viv the first Black player to represent England or was it someone else???

OK I'll take your word but I never saw Viv post match. I'm not suprised you were at the bar. Its a handy little watering hole but you can die of thirst in there waiting to get served especially pre match. Is Viv involved at Swindon or in football? I reckon he must be Frazier Campbell's agent .

Anderson was the first black player to represent England (against Czechoslovakia in 1978)
Laurie Cunningham was the first black player to represent England at ANY level. (U-21 against Scotland 1977. Scored on debut!) plus he was the first black player to represent England (Senior team) in a competitive game.

I was living in Brum then and I used to watch West Brom a bit with me local mates.
