With Collins scoring again today will we see an end to the anti Collins brigade on here?
Both Craney and Collins are goal threats and despite Collins often going missing in some games he certainly knows where the net is. Goodwin is the first name on teamsheet for the centre of midfield IMO but who should start alongside him?
I've included Berrett, Flynn and Worthy too as I know they've all got their fans, particularly Berrett.

i think collins just above Crainey,
Collins is technically very good has alot of potential hes just a little lightweight

Doesn't the fact that Collins has started improving recently and getting amongst the goals kind of mean the "anti Collins brigade on here" had a point?

At the moment Collins, but I think they are both great players, and would be happy to play both anytime we want to drop a striker

Worthy alongside Goodwin? Not if we're relying on midfielders to get us the goals as we are at the moment. Not sure how anyone could knock Collins at the moment. 6 goals in 12 games!! Thats a hell of a record for a midfielder. Its a good record for a striker! Thought he was one of our best players today. Craneys ok, just not as good or as effective as Collins.

I would like to think that most people could see that as a PAIR, collins and goodwin offer the best partnership or most balanced/complimentary partnerhsip from the midfielders we have at the club if we are to play with two attacking wingers.
But its also about form and both deserve the shirts at the minute,

Point about collins - best finisher in the squad - one on one with the keeper or chance at the edge of the box - who would you prefer to see?

[While donning tin hat] Collins is a great passer, good attacking threat, reasonable in the air, calm (if not spectacular) finisher & can tackle a bit. Neither Craney nor Flynn are as balanced an attacking midfielder even if they are better in certain areas.

Collins definetly, James Berret is definetly one for the future though he's similar to goodwin in a way loves to tackle and has great distribution... Craney wud be second choice followed by flynn..

Collins is the fittest player at the club. No other player at the club can burst from midfield like he does. Watch the goal against Oldham, that was a beautiful powerful run combined with a superb first touch (the ball was played slightly behind him and he was running at full pelt) and cool finish!
Yes I'm a massive Collins fan and he's the closest thing we've got to Chrissy Marsden - not at his standard yet but I reckon he's got the potential to be. (and Marsden had an inconsistent seasons so I've been told when he was younger)
