When Clark arrived he said that he wanted to instill a winning mentality into our players.Would anyone agree that he is starting to instill this mentality in the fans as well! After following Town for over 40 years there haven't been many times when going to watch Town I truely felt that we were going to win.The last few games I have felt there is no way we will get beaten and I feel like that for next Saturdays game.Hope the players are beginning to feel the same way.Onwards and Upwards.

Just confirms to me we're at the beginning of something EPIC in the history of Huddersfield Town.

agree mate.
It's also why I am not too worried that we are not in the play offs right now. You look at the Championship and think about the teams around 5-10 points off the play offs, looking at the teams above them, a lot will worry about the chances of moving up, but I look at our table and don't really fear anyone.
We CAN beat anyone, and I hope the players are starting to believe it!!!

That was exactly the point I was making in my thread. When I drove to Peterborough I really wasn't expecting anything. They were on a good run and we were poor.As a Town fan you still go whatever you feel.BUT it's nice to go to games now believing that we will get a result.Roll on Saturday.TTID.

Gerry and Mitch repaired the damage stan had done and began to give the players belief and we started to win games and winning becomes a habbit. Habbit then needs to become a mentaility and clark, faz, terry mac and blackkie have instilled that in the players, the club and the fans.
Everyone now believes and i really think we are going somewhere.
I have missed one game since clark took over carlisle away due to family commitments on boxing day but other than yeovil away on a tuesday night i can't see me missing another game before the end of the season and that includes the play off semis and wemberrleeey (unless we go up automatically)
ps i'm still working on geting to yeovil away.

I remember a season, can't remember which, when Town went to Lincoln, who were top of the league & unbeaten at home all season and we beat em 2-1.
In the context of footballing history it's not a biggy, but the mood & camaraderie amongst the Town fans & players in them days was top class...
It probably was the 79-80 season that kicked off some of the best feelgood seasons for Town, probably summat to do with me age back then, but nevertheless it was a great club to be involved with...
If Lee Clark can do a Buxton we've cracked it!
