Don`t know if this has been mentioned before. Don`t have a name only that he`s had championship experience.

Werling.
Strange given williams is just coming in to form. I'd be hoping one of the three left backs are on the way out then.

Barnsley fans certainly rated him, heres a few comments:
"I'd have him back in a second.
Pacey, energetic, and has an awesome freekick on him. Takes it like Roberto Carlos, charges at it, the crowd laughs, and he belts it and more often than not hits the target.
Really like him, was disappointed when he left, and I'd be very disappointed if he signed for a club lower than us. He wasn't the best defensively but I'd love to see him actually playing on the left side of our midfield at the moment."
"Really good at going forward, s**t defensivly.
Good player though."
"Somebody tell Davey to get back from Spain and head over to the Galpharm!
I'd have Werling back like a shot, he was awesome at freekicks and bombing forward, if a little suspect at the back.
We signed him on a six month loan back in the summer of 2007 with a view to a permanent move, but after a few very good displays for us there were rumors his agent thought he could do better and he went back to Turkey.
I'd so love him back at Oakwell in place of that plonker El Haimour"

I heard he scored screamer from 40 yards in the Blackburn friendly. We'll be playing a 4-6-0 formation soon.

Sounds like a good signing as it would provide back up for left wing so if roberts was to get injured or cads (roberts could move to the right) he could fill in on the left and williams back in at left back.

Did quite well in the Championship so you would hope he'd be even better in League 1. Personally I wouldn't blink if we offloaded Unsworth, Skarz and Williams - there are better fullbacks out there and hopefully this is one of them (if this story is true of course!)

its true that hes having a medical so imagine tomorrow or tuesday it will be announced...prob til end of season imo. I'd hope for a little longer given what we have heard about him. Dont want him to be awesome for 5 months and then be able to walk out in the summer to another side. However, dont want to give him too long a deal incase he turns out to be rubbish. Difficult decision for Clark

slightly worrying that he's a left back that can't defend though,we've got two of them already

Rarely see Williams getting past Roberts, which makes the job Roberts does even more impressive as he is usually faced by the both the winger and their right back

so what if we aren't successful in signing a striker? What about Williams at LB, Werling on LW and Robbo up front?

3 goals in 5 years doesn't suggest his free kicks are THAT good !!
