The rollercoaster is back on an upward cycle fella - lets make the walkers rock on sat!

It was always hard to concentrate on getting a high score in there with some six foot brother balefully staring you down.

I've heard it said before that the longest relationship you have in your life is with your parents, the second longest is with your football club. If things go to plan it's probably about right. Try telling the wife she's way down the line

Try telling the wife she's way down the line Spot on squadronleader. Many years ago before I had kids I was sat in a pub with a few mates when we asked each other "what 3 things do you love the most in life?" I said HTFC,Taylors best bitter and a curry from the Al Khyam in Dewsbury. This got back to the Mrs who was not best pleased. We lived together for 23 years and had 2 kids before we got married 3 years ago.At the reception I told her she had moved into second place! That regent club mentioned earlier seemed good beer but as driving can only have a twofer anyway. hope atmosphere as good as carlisle but result a lot better.

Following on from that there are countless occasions when I'm asked where I met the mrs and the reply is allways the same. "17th August 1996 in the Fleece, we beat Charlton 2-0, Bullock and Morrison" Whatever happens in life it allways seems to be related to a Town match ;D

What brilliant posts. Sum up completly what a True Terrier is.
Like Bristol - I too moved South due to work ( making a triumphant return to God's county 3 years ago ) though I never stopped being a Terrier - travelling 250 miles to Home games ( and to see my Mum ) I was 6, when my Dad took me to Leeds Road to see Town v West Ham, a team containing Moore, Peters and Hurst, we drew 0-0 and Colin Dobson missed a pen. After that, I too have seen the high's and the lows but That was it. I have been a Terrier since that day. The hairs on the back of my neck still stand up when the team runs onto the pitch. Best of all is that I cannot ever remember feeling so positive about the club's future. Hoyle knows what he is doing and I think we can all see the start of something special. The pride we have in Town is more evident now than ever and I can't believe that "fans" of Man City, Chelsea etc can possibly feel the same amount of pride. Our's is not bought it;s genuine! Hopefully a life long dedication is about to witness a return to the golden age for a club with quite simply, the best supporters in the land. TTID

Pure and simple addiction!!!!
No matter how bad things get you have to just carry on with hope deep down in your heart that one day soon things will change. I haven't felt as good about Town for years as I do now. Bring on the Leicester.
