Given we had sold 1500 by kick off saturday and then a few after the game and another 700 today we must be close to 2300ish. Should be a good atmosphere. Dont think leicester were expecting us to bring many having read some of their fans comments

i remember last time we played at Leicester - darren bullock smashed in a 25 yard screamer, before emile heskey ran our right back (jenks?) ragged......their fans were ripping seats up and throwing them at us if i remember correctly!

I was there Floyds. Heskey had a great game and ran us ragged I seem to remember.

You can't mention a striker's name on here! We'll be buying him this time tomorrow now!
' Steve Bruce today comented on rumours spreading like wildfire on internet forums linking striker Emile Heskey with a surprise move to League 1 Huddersfield Town. He told a press conference at the JJB Stadium: "What f**king planet are you on?!"

Was planning on going, but the £32 train fare put me off - I'm only a poor student! Anyone in the north-west who has two spare seats would be much appreciated as a new friend Petrol money would be stumped up. PM me ;D

I was at the game as well.Memorable for 2 things.A skinny lad looking about 12 years old walked past me carrying a boot bag and into the players entrance.I later saw him on the pitch, his name was Muzzy Izzet and he was outstanding.Secondly it kicked off all over the place and Filbert Streey wasn't somewhere to get cornered.Be careful out there Town fans.TTID.

Floyds999 You're right, think it was 1996 if my memory serves me right. We were in the corner in front of their home end and it was a bloody good atmosphere. I remember them chucking chairs onto us and getting set on outside. Oh happy days!!!

I went to that game ... had to sit in upper tier behind the goal .. the fans ripping the seats out were in the lower tier. Took ages to drive away from the ground at the end .. some of their fans were jumping on my car bonnet (didnt do any damage). The pubs around the ground dont let in away fans .. we had to walk about a mile away from the ground to get served!

PM me ;D You can get train a bit cheaper than £32, we've done it for around £23, quite simple really. If you go online to one of the train companies and collect your tickets from those machines at the station. You need to do it in 3 stages, which are: 1. Hudds to Sheffield (about £6 return, not sure cos i'm getting on at Shepley) 2. Sheffield to Derby (£8.50 off peak return) 3. Derby to Leicester (£8.20 off peak return) All tickets can be used on any train you like cos all Sheffield to Leicester trains call at Derby anyway. You can save £9 on the proper fare which means at least 3 free pints ;D ;D ;D
