I don't think he's overrated, he needs to score more goals, but looking at his record you can probably expect about 10 goals a season for him. When we sign a new striker there's no doubt he will lose his place for some of the games, but he's a lively player to have on the bench. Let's be careful how much stick we give him, cos the boo boys must be getting restless now.

well, i will say that he has been disappointing. not so much in his effort, as especially since getting a run in the first team i give him credit for putting in a good shift, but, in the old goal scoring area there is something definately missing. would it come with a bit more time and a return in confidence? dont know, it does raise serious questions. one thing for sure, as long as he is putting on a blue and white shirt, he deserves full backing when on the pitch !!!

Parker needs to play off a proper centre forward, at Blackpool he had Morrell to create space and flick balls in behind the defenders to use his pace. As nice as we are now playing we don't play this way and KP is often dragged wide to create space and feed midfield runners.
You can't fault his effort, were we to get a centre forward (a young Boothy) then you may see a different end product.
Worth perservering with imo

i dont think you can expect 10 goals a season from him when he has scored once since May 2007?
i think he would be useful to have on the bench as well but i would be looking to get rid of jevons and him out of my starting 11 for sure.

I think he would work well alongside Booth, similar to when Brandon was playing up front receiving flick on's and outpacing defenders.

dont think anyone has heard any booing of parker?
he got a decent ovation when he went off (despite his poor performance) from where i was sitting....
think there has to be some distinction between "boo boys" and those people who question on a message board whether he (with his abysmal goal scoring record) warrants a place in the team.....

I've been very disappointed with Parker to be honest. He's constantly throwing himself to the ground in pitiful attempts to win free-kicks/penalties and he's never onside!
As far as the boo boys are concerned I think Parker's been very lucky! He already seems to be a "fans favourite" despite delivering very little. The amount of stick Liam Dickinson got from some sections of the crowd was embarrassing to say the least, especially as he was far more effective than Keigan Parker.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Parker find his form and I'm sure he will soon enough, but at this current time I'd say yes! He is overrated!

I haven't heard any booing towards Parker.
I don't think he deserves this as that is not supporting the club in any way.
He is nowhere near as good as I expected him to be though.

Over rated - very Goal threat - Zero Movement off ball to create space - Non existent
Ship him out - as soon as we get someone in

With his goalscoring record I would say the fans have been more than patient with him. It's not like he's been unlucky he doesn't look like scoring at all. Let's face facts he's crap and has been a shocking signing, maybe Bradford are looking for a 'striker'.
