Is that the correct pronuncition.
Just so I know, cos I once spent ages arguing with somone over the correct way to say Cecere's name.
I said 'chaycherry'

Not quite Vurling, I believe it'd be pronounced as Vehrling.

Yep, if he takes his Dad's surname it'll be "Whirling", as he hails from the U.S.
If he has taken on a German surname, it'll be pronounced like "Verling". Bit like Pawel Abbot - you pronounce the "W" like you would a "V".
I guess it doesn't really matter but you know, it would be nice to say it right!

If it's pronounced the German way, then it's Vareling (vare as in "dare").

I'd think, as Stevy says, it's Vehrling.
Werling isn't an American name, it'll be german with the V sound.
