Given that Pilkington plays, or can play, wide right and Ainsworth (who to my eyes looked very decent when we played Hereford) plays wide left could this see Robbo move just behind a front man?
I wonder is Dickinson is that player...
Not sure where that leaves Jevo, Parker and Cads mind....
Could work for us or against us tomorrow too...players will either be trying their bo77ox off or playing with a little fear that they are for the chop...
Good signings overall if you ask me...

The County fan on the other thread says that Pilkington can play anywhere across the middle an up front, Ainsworth is versatile as well. We could play 4–2–3–1 with the three interchanging.

Could be a new striker, if not, Cads and Pilkington in the middle, Roberts and Ainsworth wide, but all four could be interchangeable.

My god I don't think I have seen so much pace upfront for us before! This is like my optimism at the beginning of the season, only bigger!!

This much pace could open up so much space for Roberts.
Exciting times!

If there's no further signings i'd play,
Smithies
Holdsworth Butler Clarke Werling
Cadamarteri Goodwin Craney Roberts
Pilkington Parker
I know alot of people will disagree with me leaving Collins on bench but i feel Craney is involved in the game more throughout the 90 min's,

Smithies Holdsworth Clark Butler Werling Goodwin Collins Ainsworth Pilks Roberts Cads/New I agree, mate! Even without a new striker there can't be many better line-ups than that in this division! I'm as excited as Unsworth in a cake shop!!

Smithies
Holdsworth Clarke Butler Williams/Werling (lets see how good he is before he gets to start)
Goodwin
Ainsworth Collins Roberts
Pilks New
Bench: Glennon Williams/Werling Craney Berrett Cads.
It's great that we have versatile players so that we can alter things if necessary. Also they can all swap positions in the game to make it difficult to be picked up.

We could play a manu utd esque formation. 4-3-3 with one of the 3 dropping off to help defend. All the front 3 change positions and confuse the hell out of the other team. Pilkinton can play up front or wide, so can roberts and ainswroth can play either wing. Roberts and Ainsowrth would both be fit enough to get forward and get back and defend.
Roberts = Ronaldo Ainsworth=Tevez/Nani Pilkington = Rooney/Berbatov

Who remembers beating Wednesday 3-2 (Booth scored for them) with a Gorre Smith Whjinhaard Gallen attacking combination where we absolutely flew for 45 minutes?
Can't remember what went wrong that season - did one or two of them get injured??
But anyway - potentially we've now got the best attacking squad we've had since that day?? Just need a 'proper' striker to finish it off.

Who would the '1' be.............. The more I think about it, the more I think Cads would be the best option with his strength, pace and ability in the air. I think he could do the Chief/Heskey role and the other three would score for fun.

Maybe we will play all our attacking minded players sacrifice defenders to do so.
The Brazil national squad of League 1.
Cads is the one I think is most likely to lose out by these signings.

I really hope Cads doesn't lose out, he has turned his career around and with Roberts has been one of this season's top performers.

Cads can't be left out - surely he'll move central in place of Parker. Along with Roberts (obviously) Cads is the other player in our team who looks a cut above the rest. Hopefully there are 2 more to add to that list now!
